Easy Fit is a long term, monomer free, soft denture liner, not a tissue conditioner. Easy-Fit is a powder and liquid, inert non allergic VINYL denture compound. It requires no glue or chemical bonding agent. It is perfect as an implant or gasket retentive liner. Its very easy to trim and can be easily repaired if necessary. You can jig it, heat cure it or use it chairside - along with hot water and pressure pot.

Its simple to polish and comes with protective sealer, which you apply to the liner. It won't yellow or support the growth of fungus and aides in the elimination of denture odor. With proper care from the patient, they should get at least 3 years function.

OPERATORY INSTRUCTIONS CHAIRSIDE

  1. Remove existing liner, if any. Remove undercuts and grind approximately 1 1/2 mm of space for the new liner. Clean with water or steam DO NOT USE MONOMER.

  2. Place liquid into a mixing cup and then slowly sprinkle the powder into the liquid. Continue mixing as you add sufficient powder so that the consistency of the mix becomes sticky and tacky. If you wish, the proper mixing ration is 3 parts powder into 1 part liquid.

  3. Quickly place the tacky Easy-Fit into the dried denture surface.

  4. The patient's lips should be moistened. Now place the denture into denture cavity. The patient should gently bite into the Easy-Fit packed denture and hold for two minutes.

  5. Remove the denture from the mouth, remove all excess material with either a burr or scissors. Complete this procedure as rapidly as possible.

  6. Place the denture into a pressure pot. Use hot water, 165F is proper. Raise the pressure to 30 psi and hold for thirty minutes.

  7. Remove the denture, chill it down, this will make it easier to trim to your satisfaction.

  8. Finish it up with a wet rag wheel, and pumice.

  9. Apply Super-Sealer to all area of Easy-Fit. This will give further longevity to the liner.

CLEANING THE DENTURE

Patient should use a teaspoon of baking soda and place it into a warm 8oz cup or glass for thirty minutes each evening. It is not necessary for the        denture to remain in solution overnight. Wash off and gently brush the liner with a soft toothbrush.

 

SOFT DENTURE LINER HEAT CURE INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Boil the denture for 30 minutes to dissipate the monomer. It is important that the denture be free of monomer.

  2. Grind the areas that are to receive the Easy-Fit liner in order to assure that the surface is rough. The denture must be clean and dry.

  3. Carefully apply Quick Release 2000 separator to the stone model and allow to dry. Separator is applied only to the stone model.

  4. Pour liquid into a mixing cup and then sprinkle powder into the liquid, mixing the ingredients as powder is added. The mixture should be sticky and tacky. The ratio of powder into liquid is three to one.

  5. Spread a generous amount of the mixture onto the dried denture surface. Taper up and over the flanges onto the denture surface.

  6. For flasking, close the flask and place onto the denture press. Do not trial pack.

  7. Total curing time will be 120 minutes. First cure the denture in hot water for 60 minutes at 170 F. Raise the temperature gradually. Continue the process by boiling at 212 F for 30 minutes.

  8. Bench cool and deflask.

  9. Trim excess flash with a carbide bur and finishing stone. Cool before grinding.

  10. Polish to a high gloss using a rag wheel and pumice.

  11. Apply an even coat of Super Sealer on the newly processes dry soft liner. Allow to bench cure for 1 minute and then apply second coat. Apply a third coat of sealant one hour later.

  12. Clean denture with a soft brush, using soap and water.

NOTE: The patient will derive longer benefit, if they use baking soda as their evening cleaning agent. Place the denture into a glass of warm water containing the backing soda. Leave the denture there for 30 minutes, remove, rinse off and then place it away until needed. Before it is used in the morning, place the denture into a warm glass of water to soften the liner.

SOFT DENTURE LINER - JIG INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Pour stone model into impression of the denture.

  2. Relieve all undercuts, and remove approximately 1 to 2 mm. of space from those areas that will be placed with Eazy-Fit.

  3. Roughen and dry denture. DO NOT USE MONOMER TO CLEAN THE DENTURE.

  4. Apply QUICK RELEASE 2000 separator onto the model side of stone surface. Allow drying. DO NOT allow separatpr to flow in between acrylic and liner.

  5. Pour liquid into a mixing bowl and then sprinkle powder into the liquid, mixing the ingredients as the powder is added. The mixture should be sticky and tacky. The ratio of powder into liquid is three to one.

  6. QUICKLY and evenly place the mixture over the reline area of the denture.

  7. Close jig with model painted with separator to make impression. RAPIDLY, place the jig into a pressure pot, and cure at a constant 30 psi for thirty (30) minutes at a temperature of approximately 180 F to 200 F.

  8. Place the denture into cold water to temporarily harden. Now  remove the excess liner with a burr.

  9. Polish to a high shine using a rag wheel and pumice.

  10. Apply an even coat of SUPER SEALER on the newly processed dry soft liner. Allow to bench cure for approximately 1 min.  and then apply a second coat. SUPER SEALER, is a monomer free resin sealant that will protect the soft liner, and further extend its longevity. SUPER SEALER, will function equally as well on acrylic and composite.

  11. Clean denture with soft brush, soap and water.

NOTE: THE PATIENT WILL DERIVE LONGER BENEFIT IF THEY USE BAKING SODA AS THEIR EVENING CLEANING AGENT. PLACE THE DENTURE INTO A GLASS OF WARM WATER CONTAINING THE BAKING SODA. LEAVE FOR THIRTY (30) MINUTES, REMOVE, RINSE OFF AND PLACE IT AWAY UNTIL NEEDED. BEFORE IT IS TO BE USED IN THE MORNING, PLACE THE DENTURE INTO A WARM GLASS OF WATER TO SOFTEN THE LINER.
